This chain conveyor is designed to supply fodder from a silo to the actual place of consumption, which could be – Compident

·       Feeding automat

·       Volume batcher

·       Gravity hopper feeder

The fodder is transported by a driving unit through a distribution system consisting of 60 mm diameter steel galvanized tubes containing an inside moving chain with attached plastic discs that actually move the fodder.

The maximum length of the conveyor can come to as much as 800 meters. With the chain speed at 27 meters per minute, the capacity of transported fodder can be up to 1,500 kg per hour. The type of driving unit used depends on the length of the conveyor and can be 0.75 kW, 1.5 kW or 1.8 kW.

The conveyor is fitted with a sensor assuring that fodder is supplied to all consumption stations.
