Calve sheds

Calves are stalled individually during the milk feeding period - when in open air, it is in calve sheds with partitions of various types, with the option of over-the-area roofing, possibly in power bedded pens. Alternatively, calves can be stalled on grate flooring.

 

Calve group stalling

Calves during the period of feeding with plant feed are in stalls that are open or boxed, boxed with or without bedding (with mats), power bedding by a mobile means or scraped.
